The Heat in New York City

The Heat - "Instant Love" Hot Stuff Records

Instant Love and High School Sweater were released on a 45rpm single by Hot Stuff Records around 1980.  Both songs received good airplay on popular radio stations in New York like WNEW and WPLJ, and the single was well received in London.  The Heat toured England and Wales successfully somewhere around 1981 and eventually signed a major label deal with Polygram Records.  The Heat's "High School Sweater" single was played on Dick Clark's American Bandstand sometime around 1982.
